Message of Solidarity with Honduras from Cuban Residents in Belize Belize, 7th of July 2009. From the very dawn of Sunday 28 of June, when the military coup against the President of Honduras Manuel Zelaya took place, we have followed closely the developments of this situation of such urgency for the peoples of Latin America. We encourage the people of Honduras to support the return of their constitutional President, and to never give way to the unjust maneuvers or be confused by the statements of the coup perpetrators; to resist and to triumph. We extend our solidarity with the struggle of that heroic people and along with all Cuban compatriots such as those who accomplish glorious internationalist missions and the hundreds of resident brothers and sisters whom are already part of that noble nation which is living dramatic moments.
