Byelorussian Parliament Members Express their Solidarity with Cuba

Byelorussia, April 6, 2010. A group of Byelorussian legislators, members of the Solidarity-with- Cuba Association, rejected the anti-Cuba resolution issued by the European Parliament on March 11th.

In a statement at the Byelorussian National Assembly, the Parliament Members criticized the European Union’s position, describing it as an act of interference in Cuba’s domestic affairs, Prensa Latina news agency reported.

The Byelorussian legislators ratified their solidarity with the Cuban Parliament and demanded respect for the Cuban people’s right to make their own destiny. (Cubaminrex- RHC)
