CUBA, July 21, 2010.- Critical issues of economic, political and social development will be discussed by the Cuban deputies when they meet between July 28 and 29, and hold August 1st, the 5th Ordinary Session of the Seventh Legislature of the National Assembly. This was confirmed yesterday during a press conference held at the Parliament, during which several of the presidents of the committees, that make it up, detailed their agendas.
The deputies explained that July 28 and 29 they will work in committee, while on 30 and 31 they will receive information from the various ministries, and on August 1st they will meet in plenary to discuss the bills of the Highway Safety Code and the Modification of the Political-Administrative Division. They will also analyze the results of the temporary committee set up to examine complaints and requests of the people, besides checking the settlement of the budget of the first half of 2009.
Several presidents of the National Assembly committees discussed the issues Members will discuss on July 28 and 29, which in practice have to do with all the major aspects of society, and whose discussions will assist ministers and officials to present information and exchange ideas on the reports and parliamentary studies.
