FIHAV 2009 Dedicated on Tuesday to Canada, Argentina and Russia
CUBA, November 3, 2009. Havana’s 27th International Fair (FIHAV 2009), which opened its
doors on November 2 with the presence of 1, 230 companies from 54 countries, will be dedicated on Tuesday to Canada, Russia and Argentina.
Businessmen from Latin America, the United States, Asia, Africa and Europe are participating in this edition of the island’s largest commodities exchange that will run until Saturday at the Cuban capital’s EXPOCUBA exhibition complex, which includes 24 pavilions and covers more than 17,000 square meters.
Spain, Canada, China, Russia and Venezuela are among the most represented nations, while Italy, Germany, Mexico and Brazil also have a prominent participation, according to sources from the event’s organizing committee.
Cuba is present with 111 enterprises, most of them from the food and health sectors, which exhibit their main exportable products and services.
Professional visits will continue on Tuesday to FIHAV, which has consolidated as a trade fair of great interest for companies and businessmen from around the world who one way or another are commercially related with the island.
The previous edition of the Fair was attended by over one thousand companies from 54 nations and concluded with the signing of accords for over 350 million dollars, according to the president of the organizing committee, Abraham Maciques.
