To the family of Miguel Alfonso-Martinez we would like to extend our deepest sympathy in the passing of a great leader who spent years of commitment fighting for the Treaty Rights of our peoples in the Treaty No. 6 Territory [Alberta] Canada. The time and effort he committed to this cause will forever be appreciated; and the legacy he left will never be forgotten. May the Creator place comfort in your hearts through this time of deep sadness.
