American Nobel Prize praises the development of Cuban science.

CUBA, September 9th, 2010.- American David Gross, Nobel Prize in Physics 2004, one of the personalities attending the III International Seminar of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, said he was impressed by the development of science and medicine in Cuba.

The also Director of the Institute of Theoretical Physics at the University of Santa Barbara, USA, expressed confidence that nanotechnology will be used in the world for the welfare of humanity and not for its destruction.

Speaking to the press, he acknowledged that avoiding nuclear war has been a miracle for mankind in the last 65 years and expressed optimism that in the present international situation may also be prevented. Gross advocated for the total elimination of nuclear weapons.
