Cuban Experts Use Nuclear Energy for Peaceful Purposes

CUBA, March 10th, 2011.- Cuban professors, researchers and students from the Higher Institute of Nuclear Sciences and Technologies (ISCTN) reiterated their commitment to continue using that kind of energy for peaceful purposes.

  In a letter sent to the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, experts reaffirmed their conviction to put the benefit of resources with methodology, economy and nature.

Issued on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the mentioned academic center, the document supports Fidel Castro's reiterated warnings to the world about the dangers of a nuclear war.

ISCTN labs have implemented important projects in Cuba, mainly in meteorology, technology management, and environment, the sources recalled. (Cubaminrex-PL)
