Cuban Ambassador to Belize Denounces US Blockade against Cuba

Belize, 28 of October 2009. Simultaneously to the discussions al the UN General Assembly concerning the resolution calling for the lifting of the US blockade against Cuba, the Cuban Ambassador to Belize offered a statement to the Press about the development of the issue and the Cuban stance on the matter.

The diplomat reiterated the elements that denounce this policy and showed the support of the International Community to this just claim. A very emotional moment was the almost unanimous vote in favor of the Cuban resolution by the member states of the United Nations.
