Cuba Graduates Thousands of New Health Professionals

CUBA, July 20, 2010.-  More than 3,000 new public health professionals will receive their respective graduation diplomas in a series of activities that will start in this capital Monday and continue until July 31st.

Degrees will be granted to graduates in medicine and dentistry as well as in nursing, psychology and public health technology, at the University of Medical Sciences in Havana.

A group of foreign students from 25 countries including Bolivia, Honduras and Guatemala will also receive their diplomas.

These ceremonies will feature the first graduates who studied at the University Polyclinic Project, a professional force with a high political, moral and scientific-technical formation. (Cubaminrex-RHC)
