Cuban Embassies Open Book of Condolence for Deceased Armed Forces Minister.
CUBA, September 5, 2011.- The Cuban embassies in China, Angola and Spain opened books of condolence for the recent death of Armed Forces Minister, Army Corps General Julio Casas Regueiro.
The outstanding military chief was described as an upright and outstanding revolutionary during a ceremony at the Cuban embassy in Beijing, PL news agency reported.alt
In Angola, tribute was paid to Casas Regueiro on Monday at the Cuban diplomatic mission in the capital Luanda with the signing of the book of condolence.
Angolan media outlets, including TPA TV, regretted the death of the Cuban army corps general and vice president of the Cuban Council of State, who was posthumously awarded the distinction of Labor Hero of the Republic of Cuba.
And the Cuban embassy in Madrid also opened a book of condolence on Monday for the passing away of the minister of the Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces.
Julio Casas Regueiro, who was also member of the Political Bureau of Cuba´s Communist Party died from a heart failure last Saturday afternoon in Havana. (Cubaminrex-RHC)
