Cuban President Raul Castro Sends Greetings to Participants in World Trade Union Congress.
GREECE, April 7, 2011.- Cuban President Raul Castro, sent a greeting on Wednesday to the nearly 800 participants at the XVI World Trade Union Congress underway in Athens, Greece until next Sunday.
”We believe that future actions arising from this meeting will help to strengthen the struggle for social justice and peace,” Raul Castro said in his message, released at the opening of the international forum.
”On behalf of all the people, and especially of Cuban workers, we wish the Congress every success,” added Raul in the message, which was distributed to the participants.
”Your debates,” - he added -, “have a high value given the current circumstances and the historic role that has always characterized you as the revolutionary vanguard of the peoples of the world.” (Cubaminrex-RHC)
