Cuban Workers to Reaffirm Socialism on International Worker’s Day.

CUBA, April 27th, 2011.- General Secretary of the Cuban Worker’s Union (CTC), Salvador Valdés, pointed out that the Worker’s day will be a moment to consolidate the socialist character of the Cuban revolution. This day will be celebrated all over the island with people’s parades and marches on Sunday. He added that this would be a good opportunity to express gratitude to all workers, unions, the solidarity movements, and all the people that support the Cuban Revolution. Valdés emphasized that Cuba will keep on practicing internationalist actions and will provide support and aid wherever is needed. (Cubaminrex-RHC)
