UNESCO Acknowledges Cuban Literacy Method.

CUBA, May 25, 2011.- The General Director of UNESCO, Irina Bokova, acknowledged the Cuban literacy method, ¨Yo Si Puedo,¨or ¨Yes, I Can,¨ when speaking in Paris, France. During the plenary sessions of the 186 Executive Council of UNESCO to the United Nations, she underlined the effective example of the method and the South-South cooperation. Irina Bokova also expressed the disposition of UNESCO in sharing experiences of the Cuban literacy method, which is applied is more than a dozen different countries. (Cubaminrex-RHC)
