I1 was deeply affected by the sad news of the untimely death of Commander of the Revolution, Vice-President of the Council of State, H.E. Juan Almeida Bosque, on 11 September 2009.

I take this opportunity to, also on behalf of the Government and People of the Republic of Suriname, offer my deepest condolences to the Government and People of the Republic of
Cuba on the loss of this respectable Cuban son who dedicated his life to the cause of the Cuban Revolution and who also expressed its most profound values.
