CUBA , July 24, 2007.- Cuba graduates over 8,000 health professionals nationwide , including 4,312 doctors, of which 1,842 are from the Latin American School of Medicine ( ELAM ) in this capital, Francisco Alberto Duran, national director of Medical Teaching, informed. Duran explained the graduation ceremonies will be in the corresponding provinces, where those graduated in dentistry, health technology, and nursing, as well as the first 746 paramedics trained under the new pedagogical program implemented in 2002 will also receive their diplomas today.
