Theater Workshop on AIDS Prevention in Cuba
CUBA , May 17, 2007.- Creators and specialists from 14 Latin American countries will attend a workshop on the fight to prevent the Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome, convoked by the United Nations Education, Science and Culture Organization's Regional Cultural Office.
In the appointment, from May 22 to 24, artists from Argentina , Brazil , Colombia , Mexico , Guatemala , Haiti , Venezuela and Uruguay , among others, will be present.
The program includes round tables, presentations of books, exhibitions and shows in which the different forms of approaching the topic will be seen.
One of the most significant moments, according to the organizers, will be the presentation of the webpage "Net of Creators and Cultural Experts United in the Prevention of AIDS", a project gathering institutions of communication and public health of the region.
Among the invited personalities there is specialist Silvia Bacher, co-founder of Argentinean organization Las Otras Voces, and theater company Delphos, from Venezuela . (Cubaminrex-PL)
