
Cuba Denounces increase of international human trafficking.
UNITED NATIONS, September 1, 2010.- Cuba denounced the increase of human trafficking despite the importance the international community gives to this issue.
While greeting the launch of the Global Action Plan against human trafficking, the Permanent Representative of Cuba to the United Nations, Pedro Nunez Mosquera, expressed the hopes on this mechanism to be effective in fighting this evil.
We hope this can contribute to increase international cooperation in the field, with due respect for the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of States, he said. (Cubaminrex-RHC)
