Cuba Stands Out as Country with Highest Social Development of the Region.
CUBA, October 8, 2010.- The U.N. Economic Commission for Development of Latin America and the Caribbean placed Cuba as the country with the most resources designated for social development of all the countries in the region.
The executive director of the Dominican Institute of Integral Development, David Luther, said that even though his country has shown the greatest economic growth over the last fifty years, it has not taken advantage of those revenues to improve its human development. (Cubaminrex-RHC)
