UNICEF  Highlights Cuba´s Protection to Children´s Rights.
HAVANA, November 21, 2011.- UNICEF  representative in Havana,  José Juan Ortiz, highlighted Cuba´s political will to protect children which as an example to the world.
The official explained to the press that since the Revolution in 1959, the Cuban State dedicated efforts to the development of  children, even before the United Nations  General Assembly  adopted he Convention on the Children Rights, on November 20, 1989.
Ortiz, who has been in Cuba for five years, praised Cuba´s efforts to fulfill that objective, despite the limitations and compared it to the cruel reality that millions children live today all over the world.  (Cubaminrex)
