Cuba Ambassador Meets with UNESCO Deputy Director General for Education

FRANCE, January 24, 2012.- The Cuban Ambassador to UNESCO, María de los Ángeles Florez, met with Qian Tang, Deputy Director General for Education, who confirmed his attendance to University 2012, following an invitation by the Cuban Minister of Higher Education, Miguel Díaz Canel.

During the meeting, Deputy Director General expressed his satisfaction to visit Cuba to attend a meeting of such importance. A significant number of Minister of Education and Higher Education, deans, academics and personalities from all over the world.

Tang will offer a master conference next February 16; also, during his visit he will hold interviews with Cuban Ministers of Education and Higher Education and visit schools associated with UNESCO and the Univeristy of Havana. (Cubaminrex)
