Cuban Press Pays tribute to Soviet Astronaut Yuri Gagarin.

CUBA, April 12th, 2011.- The Cuban Press highlights that exactly 50 years ago man went into outer space for the first time, when Soviet astronaut Yuri Gagarin completed this mission.

The note recollects that this young man opened a safe path of space travel to other planets and back, and also marks the example set by this astronaut when he stated: “People from earth, let us safeguard that beauty, not destroy it”. (Cubaminrex-RHC)
