Angola to host African Meeting on Cuba Solidarity

ANGOLA, September 4TH,2010.- The organizing committee of the 3rd African Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba to be held in Luanda, the Angolan capital, September 11th and 12th, will focus on the fight against the U.S. financial and economic blockade on Cuba.

Also high on the agenda will be the international demand for the release of the five Cuban anti-terrorist fighters unfairly imprisoned in the United States, and the strengthening of relations among friendship groups attending the meeting.

The forum is summoned by the Angolan League of Friendship and Solidarity with the Peoples, the Angola-Cuba Friendship Association (ASAC) and the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP).

The Cuban delegation attending this solidarity meeting will first meet with Angolan officials and visit important institutions in Angola. (Cubaminrex - RHC)
