Colombian Parliamentarians Looking at Cuba with Sympathy.
CUBA, June 6, 2011.- The vice president of the Chamber of Representatives of the Republic of Colombia, Carlos German Navas, affirmed on Monday, in Havana, that he is proud of the existing friendship bonds between Cuba and his country.
Navas pointed out that he and his delegation toured the Caribbean island. He stated that the Cuban legislators that accompanied him have been unforgettable hosts and invited them to pay a visit to Colombia.
The vice president of the Cuban National Assembly of the People’s Power, Jaime Crombet, expressed his gratitude for their visit.
The youngest member of the Colombian Chamber of representatives, Carlos Andres Amaya, noted that the new generations in Colombia are inspired by the Cuban example and resistance, and said that Havana and its people gave them a nice welcome. (Cubaminrex-ACN)
