Tribute to Cuban Commander Manuel Piñeiro in El Salvador.

CUBA, April 4, 2011.- The Coordinator of Salvadoran Solidarity with Cuba paid homage to Cuban commander Manuel Piñeiro.

Raúl Martínez, the head of this organization, said that Piñeiro’s slogan was to convert heroism into the average, everyday and the average, everyday into heroism, as done be the five Cuban anti-terrorist fighters imprisoned in the United States.

Matínez ratified the demand for the immediate release of the Cuban Five by the El Salvadoran people.

Also at the act was Armando Briñis, second in command in the diplomatic Cuban mission in El Salvador, who spoke about Piñeiro´s life and his struggles for peoples´ freedom and a better world. (Cubaminrex-RHC)
