BOLIVIA, May 13, 2011. - Former Bolivian students in Cuba urged Latin American youths that studied in the island to support Cuba’s struggle against the U.S. blockade and for the cause of the Cuban Five, political prisoners in the United States since 1998.
In a solidarity declaration the youngsters demand U.S. president Barack Obama to release Fernando Gonzalez, Antonio Guerrero, Ramon Labañino, Gerardo Hernandez and Rene Gonzalez ––internationally known as the Cuban Five––, who are victims of constant violations of basic human rights.
