Cuban TV to present new evidence of Luis Posada Carriles' terrorist activities.

CUBA, January 6th, 2011. - Cuban television is set to broadcast moments of the trial to confessed terrorist Francisco Chavez Abarca, who testified that the notorious terrorist Luis Posada Carriles was the one who recruited him for a string of bombings in the Caribbean nation.

A TV spot, broadcasted yesterday, show excerpts of the trial celebrated in Havana last December, which imposed a 30 years jail sentence to Chávez Abarca.

During the trial the defendant explained that Posada Carriles contacted him in his home country, El Salvador, making all the arrangements for the perpetration of those crimes that killed the Italian tourist Fabio di Celmo.

Last July, Chávez Abarca was extradited to Cuba in obedience to an arrest warrant issued by Cuba through the Interpol, and later prosecuted as one of the main links of the terrorist network well structured in Central America by the Cuban-American National Foundation and Luis Posada Carriles.
