Cuba: Bush Has No Moral Right to Judge Other Nations
UNITED NATIONS, September 26, 2007.- The Cuban delegation at the United Nations General Assembly walked out of the plenary session on Tuesday -- protesting the arrogant and mediocre speech of U.S. President George W. Bush, according to a communiqué issued by Cuba 's UN Mission in New York .
"Bush is responsible for the assassination of over 600,000 Iraqi civilians, authorized torturing prisoners at the illegally occupied U.S. Naval Base at Guantánamo, kidnappings, secret flights and prisons," read the communiqué. "He is a criminal and does not have the moral authority or credibility to judge any nation."
During his speech Tuesday morning at the UN General Assembly, Bush called on Cuba to carry out "free and competitive elections" and claimed that the Cuban government headed by President Fidel Castro "is coming to its end." (Cubaminrex-RHC)
