Guinean Professors Praise Human Rights in Cuba

CUBA, December 10, 2008. Guinean professors who have graduated in Cuba underscored, in the capital Malabo, the rights enjoyed by all Cubans and recalled their school experience in the Caribbean nation.

During a colloquium organized by Cuban ambassador to Malabo Rafael Garcia at the National University of Equatorial Guinea, the professors recalled their stay in Cuba and said that they were never discriminated against for the color of their skin or for being foreigners.

Cuba is a small country without huge resources, but it helps many nations of the world, said the Guinean professors, PL news reported.

The professionals called on their students to read objective information about Cuba and stressed the struggle of the Cuban people against the huge propaganda machinery of the United States.

The conference took place in the context of the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Participants included students and professors at the National University of Equatorial Guinea and Cuban professors and other collaborators currently offering their services in that country.(Cubaminrex- ACN)
