KENYA, December 11, 2008. As part of the activities to celebrate the advent of the 50th Anniversary of the Cuban Revolution, the State television KBC played the documentary "Missionaries of life" of the Cuban filmmaker Luis Acevedo Fals. The exhibition, dedicated to all men and women of the Cuban medical brigade in Venezuela, contains interesting passages of the work of Cuban collaborators as part of the unselfish aid and solidarity offered by the Cuban government to the people of Venezuela. The Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) and the Cuban Institute of Radio and Television (ICRT) have signed a cooperation agreement that includes actions such as the abovementioned to show to their public the realities of both countries. Coincidentally, the news of this television station reported the projection by the Cuban Embassy in Nairobi, of the documentary "Facts, not words" from the Argentine filmmaker Carolina Silvestre, to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the Proclamation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
