Radio Conversation with the Cuban Ambassador to Bostwana on Human Rights in Cuba in the International Window Program

BOTSWANA, November 10, 2008. The Cuban ambassador to Botswana Mr. Luis Lopez Tormo offered the radio conversation in the International Window Program, where he spoke in Radio Botswana referring to Human Rights in Cuba. During his Conversation with the radio presents, he explained the Contribution of Cuba in the Fight of defense of human rights and achievements in the fields of education, public health, sports, and social security, as well as the implementation of international treaties relating to Rights of the Child and Women.

He also explained the solidarity contribution of Cuba to the Third World countries to fight the negative effects of illiteracy, chronic diseases, poverty only to mention a few in the African continent.

In the radio program participated representatives from the Medical Brigade and Sports explaining the gratitude of sports institutions where all interested citizen in sports are being assisted and noted the great assistance from the Cuban Government to assist in the country which today allowed a group of six Cuban sports expects to give their services to Botswana population Contributing to the development of sport in the country.

They equal explained the great assistance made possible by their country to take health to the distant Conner of the country and acquisition of the latest technology to improve the level and quality of life of the Cubans at the same time cooperating with our brothers and sisters in this important sector and at a point contributing to the improvement of the health indices in the third world countries especially in Africa , pointing out the reason why there have a group of 52 cooperates of health in this country .( Cubaminrex- Embacuba Botswana)
