The Bolivarian Revolution in Venezuela is still there
Dear friend:
Last Sunday we witnessed another proof of the changes which are taking place in Latin America, where the peoples are tired of the same old story of neoliberal politics to rule the world. The Bolivarian Revolution in Venezuela is getting stronger day by day.
The Bolivarian government won the majority of the posts of the states in the elections of this Sunday. But the opposition won the elections in the capital district and in three states, during the regional elections held in an atmosphere of quietness and with an attendance of 65,45 % of the people with the right of voting, a percentage without precedent.
The candidates of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela will rule in the sates of Yaracuy, Delta Amacuro, Vargas, Apure, Aragua, Barinas, Bolívar, Cojedes, Falcón, Guárico, Lara, Mérida, Monagas, Portuguesa, Trujillo, Sucre, Anzoátegui, and the municipality Libertador de Caracas.
The opposition proclaimed that they would win in no less than 14 states, but they have the power now in only 4 states, because the results in 2 other regions are not still clear and the official decision has to wait. Meanwhile, the Vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, Alberto Müller, expressed that the Bolivarian Revolution will rule the geopolitical national map, in the majority of the cases, through a clear voting on the rivals. It was what really happened.
Actually, it was a great victory for the socialist party and the Bolivarian Revolution. The opposition could not go forward their intention to overcome Chavez and his socialist method to develop Venezuela.
