SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES, October, 21 2008. A delegation integrated for the Mr. Jorge Delgado Bustillo, the Cuban Medical Cooperation Unit, the Co. Hector Mustelier, member of International Department Cooperation of Santiago de Cuba and Mrs. Norma Cabeza, member of the International Department Relations of the Central Committee of Cuba, have arrived in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, for meetings and working visits in this sector with the country's authorities and the Friends. The delegation was received by Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves, subsequently met with the Minister of Public Health and Environment, Dr. Douglas Slater and other senior officials, and with the Director of Central Hospital, Dr. Peter Kagbala. By the hand, the Delegation visited the Milton Cato Hospital in the capital, where the clinics are working the Cuban Collaborators of the Integral Health Plan, they saw the area of construction of the Integral Diagnostic Center, they reviewed the Cooperation Agreements between the two countries and exchanged views with the Friends of the Fields of Health including the Brigade of Operation Miracle and an exchange with all the fraternal Cuban Collaborators who are in the country.(Cubaminrex- Embacuba San Vicente y las Granadinas) |
